Fuck Politics, Let’s Talk About Women

I haven’t done a #FuckPolitcsReadBooks post in a while so here you go. But this time it’s #FuckPoliticsReadWomensBooks because it’s Women in Horror month. I usually do these posts on Farcebook but this one may get a little long so I decided to put it here. I’ll be showcasing individual authors in this and other venues throughout the month, but in the meantime here’s a list of badass women to get you started reading some of the best horror in print. Every single one of these chicks is a fucking rockstar and if you haven’t read their work, or you don’t read work by women, you’re screwing yourself out of something special. I’m absolutely certain I’ll miss a million great authors but at least it’s a decent primer for you, and I’ll be sharing stuff about awesome women authors all month long, so don’t worry, you won’t starve. So, without further bullshit from me, and in completely random order, here they are. (Their names are linked to their Amazon author page where applicable.)

I’m going to stop there for now but that should be more than enough to get you started. All these women are amazing and if you check out their work I can promise you it will be time and money well spent. I’ll have more for you next week and more WiHM stuff to share all month long so stay tuned.
